TENDER NOTICE
INVITATION FOR QUATATION (IFQ)
PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FOR IMPROVING FOOD SECURITY AND RESILIENCE THROUGH SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND CLIMATE ADAPTATION FOR GOBWEYN AND LUGLOW SETTLEMENT –KISMAYO DISTRICT.

- Project Overview.
The Ministry of Agriculture & Irrigation, Jubaland State of Somalia (JSS), has allocated funds provided by the GIZ program to cover eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of equipment and materials as part of efforts to improve food security and resilience through sustainable agriculture and climate adaptation in Gobweyn and Luglow settlements, Kismayo District.
- Eligibility to Bid
Eligible bidders are invited to submit their Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for the purchase of goods described in the Invitation for Quotation (IFQ).
- Submission Requirements
- All quotations must be submitted in one original plus two copies, properly filled in and enclosed in a sealed plain envelope.
- The envelope should be clearly marked: “IFQ No.050/OAFH/JSS/2025: Purchasing of Goods as per Specification Form.”
- Quotations must include all supplementary documentation as outlined in the bid documents.
- Deadline for Submission
- All quotations must be received no later than 20th January 2025 at 5:59 AM East Africa Time.
- Late quotations partially completed quotations, and those not received or opened during the quotation opening ceremony will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Quotation Opening
- Submitted quotations will be opened promptly after the submission deadline in a public ceremony.
- The opening will take place at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Agriculture & Irrigation – Jubaland State, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
- Important Notes
- The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and is not obliged to award the contract to the lowest bidder.
- Failure to comply with submission requirements may result in disqualification.
